Flock on the West Coast 2018 will take place at Club Mykonos Resort in Langebaan from 6 to 11 March 2018. The event will consist of BirdLife South Africa’s bi-annual Learn About Birds (LAB) Conference on 8 and 9 March (with plenary sessions by Dr Alan Lee and Dr Mark Brown), as well as the annual BirdLife South Africa AGM on Saturday, 10 March. Other attractions will include an optional waders workshop by Faansie Peacock, as well as an extended presentation by Etienne Marais on the endemic birds of the Cape. Guided excursions will include outings to nearby West Coast National Park, the Berg River Estuary at Velddrift, and much much more.
