BirdLife South Africa will be holding a remote AGM at 11h00 on Saturday 13 June 2020.

We initially planned to hold our AGM at the Wilderness Hotel in Wilderness, Western Cape, during the Flock to the Wilderness weekend from 29-31 May 2020. The COVID-19 restrictions unfortunately no longer allow a physical meeting to take place. It is a great pity that Flock to the Wilderness will no longer take place, especially as many exciting activities were planned for the weekend. We are grateful to BirdLife Plettenberg Bay, Lakes Bird Club and the Nature’s Valley Trust for their support. We also apologise for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation of Flock to the Wilderness.

The AGM on 13 June will be hosted from Isdell House, BirdLife South Africa’s  head office in Johannesburg. If the lockdown restrictions allow, a core team of office-bearers will attend the meeting in person. BirdLife South Africa’s members can attend by Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_NvgfNFKfTh2xY8px6dT1Wg). We encourage our members to log on between 10h45 and 11h00, as this will allow us to start the AGM on time.
