Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge is an iconic South African destination. Started in the 1950s, and owned by the Batlokloa community, the Lodge is a Development Project for Transfrontier Parks Destinations (TFPD).

Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge provides accommodation in the Drakensberg for hikers, climbers, adventure travellers and families. It is at the base of the Drakensberg’s Sentinel Peak. At 2286 m above sea level, the Lodge is the highest in the northern Drakensberg and Bearded Vultures can be observed at the “Vulture Restaurant”.
