IBA Projects

The IBA Programme consists of nine team members implementing conservation work in IBAs across the country. This work includes obtaining formal protection for priority IBAs, developing management plans appropriate for birds and their habitats, monitoring threatened species within IBAs, educating land owners and schools about IBAs and birds, rehabilitating pans for water birds, and improving the fiscal benefits associated with Biodiversity Stewardship and IBA protection.
