Just follow these 5 easy steps .....
1 Spot them If you have a good friend or personally know someone in a senior corporate position, such as an MD, CEO, or FD (particularly in companies that have affinities to nature conservation) we urge you to approach them. By signing up the business or company they work for as a corporate member, they will help BirdLife South Africa give conservation wings.
2
Lure them
Tell them what BirdLife South Africa is all about - we save birds through saving habitats. Birds are valuable indicators of the environment as places that are rich in bird species are often abundant in other forms of biodiversity. The presence of birds indicates a healthy environment and thriving ecosystem.
3
See the flock grow
Corporate membership is essential to BirdLife South Africa's success and growth. Without it, we won’t be able to fulfil our mission as a conservation NGO. To keep ourselves soaring each year, it is essential that we continue to increase our number of corporate members.
4
Watch them fly
BirdLife South Africa is an accredited member of the World Conservation Union (IUCN). By becoming corporate members, businesses are affiliated with one of the world's most respected NGOs. It also allows businesses to fulfill their social and environmental responsibilities by contributing towards the biodiversity of our country.
5
Log them
The more corporate members you recruit, the greater your chances are of winning! BirdLife South Africa currently has three different CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP options:
- Introductory Membership (minimum of R5 000 per annum)
- Associate Membership (minimum of R20 000 per annum)
- Partner Membership (minimum of R50 000 per annum)
Download the Corporate Membership brochure and Corporate Membership application form.
