Group Details:

Three families of brightly coloured birds, all of which are hole-nesters. Kingfishers have heavy bills, and many species are found in woodland habitats where they catch insects. Bee-eaters have slender curved bills, nest in burrows in steep earthen banks. Rollers are large, brilliantly coloured birds, which hunt from a prominent perch. They have elaborate aerial displays.
