Group Details:

Swifts are fast flying, aerial insectivores, with long swept back wings. All four toes point forwards, which prevents them from perching. Swallows and martins are small aerial insectivores, which perch readily. They have flattened bills and are often seen in flocks. Several species build elaborate mud nests on man-made structures.
