Group Details:

Sandgrouse are ground dwelling birds with very short legs and pointed tails. They live mainly in dry open habitats and because they need to drink daily are very good flyers. Doves and Pigeons are found almost everywhere and eat fruit and/or seeds. They are unusual in feeding their young with a type of milk secreted by the gastric tract.
