The following map shows the boundaries of the 124 Important Bird Areas in South Africa. To see more detail of an IBA click on the "+" sign or drag the ruler on the left or double right-click on the map. To see a satellite image of the IBA select Satellite.

In order to view additional information about each IBA click on the IBA (after the cursor has changed to a hand). A window will appear with some basic information about the relevant Important Bird Area.
